Maasai Sunstone

This is a very rare material found in Tanzania.
This is a completely natural feldspar material containing hematite inclusions that look like confetti. Some of the pieces have a golden schiller. We see a lot of green and red "spangles" in the material that cause a metalic glitter like reflection.
This material has also been known as "confetti sunstone" and "illusion sunstone".

This material is usually very small and fractured; getting decent size pieces to cut cabochons is rare. Getting pieces to facet, is very rare.
